SUSHI 5 (Statistical Usage System for High-Performance Information) is a protocol developed to automate the harvesting of COUNTER 5 reports from SUSHI-compliant providers.
With SUSHI 5 you can download COUNTER 5 usage statistics from multiple content providers at once.
To access the SUSHI 5 page, go to the admin panel and select the SUSHI 5 under the Reports & Statistics section:
On the SUSHI 5 page, your generated SUSHI 5 reports of each provider will be displayed.
As we do not have any providers set up, the 'NEW' button is unclickable.
We will start adding a SUSHI-compliant provider via the 'PROVIDERS' button:
On this page, all of the added providers will be displayed.
We will proceed by clicking on the 'ADD' button:
On the following page, we will select the provider from the dropdown list, we will select 'Ovid' as an example.
For each provider, you will find notes at the bottom indicating which credentials are required and how to obtain them.
Once all is set, click on the 'TEST AND SAVE' button:
After the provider is saved, we will head back to the SUSHI 5 page and click on the 'NEW' button which is now clickable:
We will select a provider:
We will proceed by selecting the desired report we would like to generate:
Complete the report by selecting the date range of the report:
Once the report has been set up, we will click on the 'START' button:
Back on the SUSHI 5 page, we will review the creation process of the report for each provider we have added:
In the screenshot above, there are 3 available states for the SUSHI reports:
Succeeded - the reports' creation process has been completed and the file is available to download.
Partially Succeeded - The reports' creation process is complete but some of the reports have not been created.
The file can be downloaded.
Failed - The reports' creation process has failed and no reports have been generated or available to download.
